Terms of Service
Last updated: September 27, 2026
These terms govern the use of the Dentify3D service and the dentify3d.com website. Dentify3D ("we", "us") is a subscription service that lets dental clinics upload the steps of clear-aligner treatment plans and share them with patients and colleagues as 3D animations through private links. By opening a clinic account or using the website, you agree to these terms.
Your clinic and its accounts
The clinic is responsible for the accounts of its team, for keeping passwords safe and for what its users enter and share. Team members act on the clinic's behalf.
Patient data and consent
The clinic must have a lawful basis — such as the patient's consent — to store a patient's data in Dentify3D and to share a treatment through a link, and is responsible for informing its patients. The clinic decides who receives a link, whether it has a passcode and when it expires or is revoked.
Not a medical device
Dentify3D displays treatment plans that the clinic created elsewhere; it is a communication and visualisation tool. It does not plan treatments, make or support diagnoses, or replace clinical judgement. Models may be simplified or rendered differently from the planning software. All treatment decisions remain with the treating clinician.
Plans and payment
Dentify3D is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription on the plans shown on ourpricing page. A new clinic starts with a 14-day free trial without a card; if it ends without a subscription, the admin panel pauses until a plan is chosen, while the links patients already have keep working. A clinic onboarded individually may agree its plan and price with us directly.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes the payments, issues the invoices, collects and remits VAT and sales tax, and handles refunds and payment inquiries. Paddle'sbuyer terms apply to the purchase.
Prices exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until it is cancelled. A clinic can cancel at any time from the panel and keeps access until the end of the period it has paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy. We announce price changes at least 30 days before they apply, and they take effect from the next renewal.
Your data
The data a clinic enters belongs to the clinic. We process it only to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The clinic can export everything at any time and ask us to delete its account.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, to store content you have no right to store, to attempt unauthorised access to our systems or other clinics, or to resell access to the service. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms after notifying the clinic, except where immediate action is required to protect patients, the service or other customers.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and back it up nightly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Support is provided by email atsupport@dentify3d.com.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount the clinic paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are announced in the panel or by email and posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
